I am a self-taught artist and the proud owner of Monday Greetings. My journey is a unique blend of healing and creation, where my experiences as a nurse and an artist intertwine, shaping my view of life and art.

My Southern roots, particularly through my mother’s maiden name, Ferguson—one of the first African American families to own property on Hilton Head Island—have instilled in me a deep sense of gratitude, family, faith, and art.

For many years, I work as an Operating Room Nurse, witnessing life’s most profound moments. During a challenging period of grief, I turned to art for self-care and discovered the healing power of creativity. My passion for art, especially mixed media and gouache, allows me to capture light, color, and the depth of emotion in my work.

Today I used my art skills to bring joy into others lives by illustrating illustrated theme gifts and decor.

 In my free time I enjoy Plein Air capturing light in my fine art paintings.

Now residing in Huntersville, NC, with my husband, Jermane, and our daughter, Charlotte, I continue to celebrate the simple joys of life.
